Jinder

Jinder
is a young singer-songwriter based in Bournemouth, UK. His style fits
well with the current alt country/Americana scene and is somewhat
reminiscent of Ryan Adams circa ‘Heartbreaker’ with the occasional
reference to Brian Wilson. A confident and highly accomplished young
artist.
Jinder
amicably departed company with Folkwit Records (the label) in 2007 and
has since been signed to Sony BMG with his new band, The Mercury
Men - well worth checking out.
Meanwhile his
back-catalogue of solo works remain here.

“Ok, let’s
cut to the chase. This is one of the best
Americana-come-Country albums I’ve heard this year, and
it’s been made by a 25 year old from Bournemouth! ...It’s
an album you could play forever, and the only thing that would
get tired of it would be your repeat button.”
- Jeremy
Searle, Maverick Magazine
“Jinder
returns with a new album “I’m Alive” on midas touch folk
label, Folkwit….it sounds wonderful and is
wonderful….He’s a great talent and don’t let him tell
you otherwise. I’m Alive is an album by a man that should be
going places.”
- Cambridge

“Imagine Ryan
Adams soaked in cider playing Lightning Hopkins”
